Position: Project Manager
Department: Projects / Engineering

Experience: 5–12 years (EPC + DCS project execution)
Reporting To: Management / Head – Projects
About the Role:-
Technix is looking for a highly competent Project Manager who can independently handle the complete project life cycle for industrial automation and EPC projects involving DCS/PLC/SCADA, instrumentation, panels, and field execution.
This role demands a smart, disciplined, loyal, and long-term team player who can lead technical as well as commercial aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Own the project from kickoff to handover.
- Prepare & control project schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Review engineering deliverables:
- Control philosophy
- I/O list
- DCS/PLC logics & graphics
- Detailed Design Specification (DDS)
- Instrument datasheets, FDS, FAT/SAT documents
2. Coordination & Communication
Manage vendors for panels, instruments, field devices, cables, DCS/PLC packages, telecom, networking, and civil/mech utilities.
Single point of contact for all technical, commercial, and project updates.
Conduct weekly/fortnightly review meetings.
- Internal Team Coordination:
Lead engineers, designers, commissioning teams, technicians, and external contractors.
- 3. Procurement & Delivery Management
- Coordinate procurement activities with purchase and vendors.
- Follow up for manufacturing status, FAT, dispatch and site deliveries.
- Ensure zero delays due to vendor issues.
- 4. Execution & Site Management
- Oversee installation, commissioning, loop-testing, SAT, and system handover.
- Ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and project methodology.
- 5. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and documentation for audits.
- Ensure all project documents (DCS backups, asbuilt drawings, manuals) are completed.
6. Financial Ownership
- Track project expenses, invoicing, billing, and collection follow-ups.
- Support claims, variations, and scope management.
7. Team Leadership
- Guide engineers, allocate tasks, and monitor daytoday progress.
- Identify risks early and drive timely corrections.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of DCS platforms (DeltaV, PCS7, Honeywell, ABB, Yokogawa, or similar).
- Experience in EPC project lifecycle (engineering → procurement → execution → commissioning).
- Familiar with hazardous area instruments, control systems, panels, and industrial networking.
- Handson experience in FAT, SAT, and technical reviews.
Project Management Skills

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
