Job Description
Position Overview:
This versatile role requires a candidate capable of handling front-office administration,
providing counseling to students, and managing basic accounting functions. The ideal
candidate will maintain smooth office operations, guide students in their academic choices,
and support the institute’s financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative and Front Desk Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors, students, and
clients with a professional demeanour.
- Answer and route incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage correspondence
efficiently.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with office supply management, order processing, and overall office upkeep.
2. Student Counselling and Guidance
- Conduct initial counselling sessions with prospective students to understand their
career goals, interests, and program suitability.
- Provide program and course information, explain institute policies, and assist students
through the enrolment process.
- Follow up with enrolled students to support their academic progress and address any
concerns.
- Collaborate with the academic team to stay updated on course offerings and
admission requirements.
3. Accounting and Financial Management
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including billing, invoicing, and processing
payments.
- Maintain financial records, manage accounts receivable/payable, and oversee petty
cash.
- Prepare basic financial reports, such as income and expense statements, for
management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities and assist with end-of-month
reconciliation.
