Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Part-Time Optometrist to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, assisting ophthalmologists in patient diagnosis and treatment, and ensuring an excellent patient experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities
- Perform accurate subjective and objective refraction to determine patients' refractive errors and prescribe appropriate corrective lenses.
- Conduct comprehensive undilated slit lamp examinations to assess the anterior segment of the eye and identify any abnormalities before consultation with the ophthalmologist.
- Document examination findings accurately and communicate observations to the consulting ophthalmologist.
- Counsel patients regarding spectacle prescriptions, contact lenses, and eye care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the clinical and front office teams for smooth patient flow.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
