Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases to maintain system stability and performance. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational needs while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to troubleshoot and optimize application functionality is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and enhancing SAP applications using ABAP on the HANA platform.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules integration and data modeling within HANA environments.
- Ability to optimize ABAP code for performance improvements in HANA database systems.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 frameworks to support user interface enhancements.
- Experience working with APIs and low-code platforms to extend application capabilities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
