We are looking for a reliable and experienced Freelance Sourcing & Import Specialist to assist us with sourcing products and managing imports from China.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our company and Chinese suppliers, ensuring smooth communication, proper sourcing, and efficient coordination throughout the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Chinese suppliers and manufacturers in Mandarin and English
- Source new products, components, and vendors as per requirements
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, timelines, and terms with suppliers
- Coordinate sampling, production follow-ups, and dispatch
- Handle complete import coordination including documentation and shipment tracking
- Assist in identifying reliable suppliers and verifying their credibility
- Support in repurposing or modifying sourced products based on our requirements
Requirements:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (mandatory)
- Experience in China sourcing and import coordination
- Good understanding of supplier communication and negotiation
- Knowledge of import processes and documentation
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Hindi (beneficial)
- Experience sourcing Precision Medical Products
- Existing network of Chinese suppliers
