Job Title: Fabrication Fitter Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Company: PAGS – Pure Aero Guard System Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Fitter to assemble, fit, and install stainless steel and mild steel fabricated components used in cleanroom, laboratory, and hospital equipment. The ideal candidate should be able to read fabrication drawings, perform accurate fitting, and ensure high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities - Read and understand fabrication drawings. - Measure, mark, cut, and fit SS/MS components. - Assemble fabricated parts before welding. - Check dimensions and maintain tolerances. - Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and measuring instruments. - Ensure proper alignment and finishing of fabricated assemblies. - Support welding, polishing, and installation activities. - Maintain a clean and safe work area. - Follow quality standards and supervisor instructions. Requirements - ITI / Diploma or equivalent qualification. - 2–5 years of experience as a Fabrication Fitter. - Experience with Stainless Steel (SS) and Mild Steel (MS) fabrication. - Ability to read engineering drawings. - Knowledge of measuring instruments such as measuring tape, vernier caliper, and try square. - Good teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Experience - Cleanroom equipment fabrication. - Laboratory furniture and hospital equipment fabrication. - TIG/MIG welding knowledge is an added advantage.
