Purpose of the Positions:
The Executive - Imports is responsible for managing and overseeing the complete import process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This includes coordinating with vendors, customs authorities, and internal teams, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with import regulations.
Duties Specific to the Position:
Operational Responsibilities
1. Handle all aspects of Sea & Air Imports, including pre- and post-shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and timelines.
2. Manage coordination with overseas agents, shipping lines, co-loaders, CHA’s, and transporters throughout the shipment lifecycle—from pickup to final delivery.
3. Update Fretrack with accurate shipment details, including ETD, ETA, and current shipment status.
4. Maintain the Daily Shipment Report (DSR) in Excel format and share it with customers regularly.
5. Ensure accurate job updates and timely processing of import documentation and shipment details.
6. Raise customer invoices on time, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment timelines.
7. Continuously improve operational processes by streamlining procedures and SOPs to enhance overall efficiency.
8. Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure accurate and timely updates on shipments and address any concerns or issues.
9. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise during the import process.
10. Share fund planning details with the accounts team, ensuring timely booking of debit notes and vendor invoices.
11. Coordinate with internal sales teams to provide shipment updates and ensure smooth operation of the import process.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
