Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, vendor coordination, and cost estimation to support project bidding and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost sheets.
- Conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing, MEP, and interior works.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare project budgets and cost comparisons.
- Coordinate with the Design, Procurement, and Project Execution teams for estimation inputs.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and bid documents.
- Monitor market prices of construction materials and labour.
- Support the Project Team with cost revisions and variation estimates during project execution.
- Maintain estimation records, cost databases, and historical project data.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Expertise in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of rate analysis and construction costing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good understanding of residential building specifications and construction standards.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying or Estimation will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in estimation for residential construction projects.
- Experience in villas, apartments, or independent residential buildings is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
