- Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair traffic signal equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Diagnose and fix issues related to traffic signals, including signal timing, power supply, and sensor malfunctions.
- Assist in installing new traffic signal systems, including wiring, controllers, and signal heads.
- Upgrade and improve existing traffic signal systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse traffic signal performance data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with city planners, traffic engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems meet regulatory standards and address traffic management needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and upgrades on traffic signal systems.
- Respond to traffic signal malfunctions or outages, coordinating with local authorities to ensure public safety.
