Lead quality assurance activities for complex aerospace/UAV assemblies and subsystems
Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, BOMs, and engineering change notices (ECNs)
Define and implement quality plans, inspection plans, and control plans
Review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports as per AS9102 (or equivalent)
Support production teams in resolving quality issues during manufacturing and assembly
Drive containment, corrective, and preventive actions for non‑conformances (NCRs)
Perform root cause analysis using tools such as 5‑Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and 8D
Monitor process capability and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Evaluate and qualify suppliers from a quality standpoint
Conduct supplier audits and supplier performance reviews
Support incoming inspection, vendor NCRs, and corrective action follow‑ups
Work closely with Supply Chain to improve supplier quality and delivery performance
Support environmental, functional, and acceptance testing activities
Review test procedures, test reports, and acceptance criteria
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of test results
Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits
Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100 preferred)
Maintain proper quality documentation, records, and traceability
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related engineering discipline
5–8 years of hands‑on experience in Quality Engineering
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, composites, assembly, testing)
