Job Summary
The Senior HR Executive – Statutory Compliance is responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with all applicable labor laws, statutory regulations, and government requirements. The role involves managing EPF, ESI, labor law compliance, payroll-related statutory deductions, audits, inspections, and maintaining statutory records to ensure legal compliance across all business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including EPF, ESI, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Shops & Establishments Act.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and statutory regulations and implement necessary updates.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per legal requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities regarding compliance matters.
EPF & ESI Administration
- Handle employee EPF and ESI registration, enrollment, and exit processes.
- Ensure timely submission of EPF and ESI contributions and returns.
- Resolve employee queries related to PF, pension, UAN, ESI benefits, and claims.
Payroll Compliance
- Verify statutory deductions in payroll processing.
- Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory deductions.
- Reconcile statutory payments with payroll records.
- Support payroll audits and compliance reviews.
Audit & Inspection Management
- Prepare documents required for internal, external, and statutory audits.
- Coordinate labor law inspections and provide necessary records.
- Ensure compliance gaps identified during audits are rectified promptly.
- Maintain audit reports and compliance records.
Employee Documentation
- Maintain employee records, nomination forms, KYC documents, and statutory compliance files.
- Ensure proper documentation for new joiners, transfers, resignations, and full-and-final settlements.
- Monitor employee eligibility for statutory benefits.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly compliance reports and management updates.
- Track statutory due dates and maintain a compliance calendar.
- Generate reports related to EPF, ESI, labor welfare, and employee compliance status.
- Support management with compliance-related data and analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EPF, ESI, Labour Laws, Bonus, Gratuity, and Payroll Compliance.
- Experience in handling statutory audits and government inspections.
- Proficiency in MS office and HRMS/Payroll software.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines effectively.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
