Job Summary:
Vasal Education is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and manage the organization’s overall IT infrastructure, technical support, networking systems, software management, and digital security across our educational institutions. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, solution-oriented, and capable of handling both hardware and software operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain school ERP systems, servers, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth functioning of internet, Wi-Fi, CCTV, biometric systems, smart classes, and computer labs.
- Handle troubleshooting of hardware, software, printers, and system-related issues.
- Monitor data security, backups, antivirus systems, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, and technical support services.
- Provide technical support and training to staff when required.
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation of systems and assets.
- Supervise installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems and applications.
- Ensure timely updates and smooth execution of digital learning tools and online platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT management or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, hardware, software, ERP systems, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Experience in educational institutions will be preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud systems, data backup, firewall management, and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
- Ability to manage multiple campuses and provide technical coordination.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive and professional approach.
