Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Maintain and oversee the full cycle of accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements.
- Project Billing & RA Bills: Manage the preparation and submission of Running Account (RA) bills for major clients (e.g., GAIL, MNGL, Torrent Gas). Track work orders and service orders to ensure timely invoicing.
- Statutory Compliance: Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and income tax reconciliations. Ensure all filings are completed within statutory timelines.
- Banking & Guarantees: Manage Bank Guarantees (BG), Letter of Credits (LC), and coordinate with banks for credit facilities and account statements.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable: Monitor cash flow, manage vendor payments, and follow up on outstanding payments from clients to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Audit Coordination: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and statutory audits.
- Reporting: Generate monthly MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and project-wise profitability reports for management.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter or M.Com preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and ERP software.
- Sector Experience: Proven experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of GST, TDS, Labour Cess, and other construction-specific taxes.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
