About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound professional to drive business development for EMI, ESD, and magnetic pellet materials in the electronics industry. The role requires understanding of advanced material applications and the ability to develop market opportunities across electronics manufacturing, electrical components, shielding applications, and related industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand market for EMI, ESD, and magnetic pellets in the electronics industry.
- Identify potential customers in electronics manufacturing, electrical components, cable compounds, enclosures, connectors, and shielding applications.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable material solutions.
- Promote applications in: ✓ EMI shielding compounds ✓ ESD-safe components ✓ Electronic housings ✓ Connectors and cable systems ✓ Magnetic functional applications
- Conduct technical discussions, presentations, and product demonstrations with customers.
- Coordinate product trials and application development with internal technical teams.
- Generate leads, manage inquiries, and convert opportunities into business.
- Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor developments.
- Participate in exhibitions, customer visits, and technical seminars.
Skills Required
- Technical understanding of electronics materials / specialty compounds / advanced materials.
- Ability to understand industrial applications and customer requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Business development and relationship-building capability.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and market development.
Preferred Profile
- Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / B.E. / M.E. in Electronics / Chemistry / Materials Science
- Experience in technical sales / business development in electronics materials, specialty chemicals, compounds, or industrial raw materials preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical understanding and commercial aptitude may also apply.
- Knowledge of EMI / ESD applications will be an added advantage.
