Qualification
NIFT (Merchandising) or a Relevant Degree in Apparel Merchandising, Production.
Role Overview
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. Vital link between the design team, vendors, and factories, ensuring that quality, timelines, and costing align with Vector X brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Coordination: Manage the Time & Action (TNA) calendar for each style and ensure timely approvals and deliveries across all stages of production.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Liaise with vendors and factories to ensure material availability, quality standards, and adherence to production timelines.
- Costing & Negotiation: Work on product costing, fabric consumption, and vendor negotiations to ensure profitability and margin alignment.
- Quality Oversight: Collaborate with the quality team to ensure all products meet the quality standards, both during sampling and final production.
- Inventory Coordination: Track raw material requirements, monitor consumption, and coordinate with warehouse or production partners for stock planning.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed reports on production status, timelines, vendor performance, and costing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, design, sourcing, warehouse, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of Product Line drops.
Desired profile of the candidate
- Minimum 5 year of experience in production merchandising, preferably athleisure.
- Strong knowledge of fabric type, garment construction, costing and vendor ecosystems in a multi-vendor production environment.
- Proficiency in using tools like Excel, Google sheets and production planning software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 per year
