Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting processes, taxation, and compliance requirements, along with the ability to coordinate across teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting including expenses, purchases, and vouchers with proper approvals
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all transactions including foreign remittances
- Process vendor and employee payments (domestic & international) with required documentation
- Handle invoicing (POs, tax invoices, debit/credit notes) with correct GST details
- Maintain and reconcile vendor and customer ledgers; track outstanding balances
- Manage petty cash and maintain asset records
- Maintain stock accounting in Tally and ensure accurate inventory records
- Monitor product costing, stock valuation, inventory movement, and stock reconciliation in coordination with SCM/manufacturing teams
- Support manufacturing and export-related accounting/documentation processes as required
2. Compliance & Statutory Filings
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS/TCS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual filings in coordination with the CA
- Verify vendor GST details to ensure ITC eligibility
- Maintain a compliance tracker to avoid delays
- Manage RBI/FEMA documentation including FIRC tracking for foreign remittances
- Coordinate with banks for forex and remittance-related matters
3. Payroll & Employee Accounting
- Support payroll processing with HR ensuring accuracy in salaries and reimbursements
- Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS, PF, and ESIC
- Handle reimbursements and full & final settlements
- Reconcile payroll data with accounts
4. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow
- Track receivables/payables and monitor outstanding balances
- Conduct variance and expense analysis
- Track GST (ITC vs output) and highlight discrepancies
5. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with CA for audits and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams for smooth operations
- Resolve queries related to payments, invoices, and compliance
6. Inventory, Audit & Controls
- Support inventory reconciliation with SCM
- Monitor expenses and highlight irregularities
- Assist in audit preparation and year-end closure
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, RBI/FEMA, and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally and inventory/stock management
- Understanding of product costing, stock valuation, and manufacturing accounting
- Familiarity with export accounting and foreign remittance processes
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Familiarity with export documentation including shipping documents, FIRC, and foreign remittance processes
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com)
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing and export-oriented organization preferred
- Experience in stock accounting, inventory management, and product costing on Tally
- CA Inter / Semi-qualified candidates preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
