Job Description
We are looking for a creative, confident and trend-aware Content Creator who can develop engaging content ideas and turn them into high-quality social media content.
The candidate will be responsible for researching trends, developing concepts, writing scripts, coordinating shoots and creating content for Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms. The role may also require appearing in front of the camera for selected client videos.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative ideas for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, posts, carousels and promotional campaigns.
- Research trending content formats, audio, memes and social media topics.
- Create monthly content concepts for restaurants, cafés, hospitality businesses and other brands.
- Write reel scripts, hooks, voiceovers, captions and short-form video concepts.
- Plan food, ambience, lifestyle, promotional, storytelling and customer-engagement content.
- Visit client locations in Pune for content shoots when required.
- Coordinate with clients, videographers, photographers, editors and social media executives.
- Prepare shoot briefs, reference videos, shot lists and content requirements.
- Direct people, products, food and locations during shoots.
- Appear in front of the camera or provide voiceovers whenever required.
- Capture basic mobile photos and videos for real-time or behind-the-scenes content.
- Review edited content and ensure it matches the original concept and brand identity.
- Make changes based on internal and client feedback.
- Maintain an organised content calendar and meet assigned deadlines.
- Monitor competitor content and identify new creative opportunities.
- Ensure content is original, brand-appropriate and suitable for the intended audience.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube and short-form video content.
- Excellent creative thinking and storytelling ability.
- Good scriptwriting, caption-writing and communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting ideas and directing shoots.
- Basic mobile photography and videography skills.
- Ability to identify trends and adapt them for different brands.
- Comfortable travelling to client locations within Pune.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
- Good command of English and Hindi; Marathi will be an advantage.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in content creation, social media, advertising or digital marketing preferred.
- Experience creating content for restaurants, cafés, hospitality, lifestyle or entertainment brands will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong creativity, communication skills and a good portfolio may also apply.
- Candidates with an active personal content page or experience creating reels will be preferred.
- Applicants must be available to work from our NIBM, Pune office.
