We are looking for a passionate Junior QA Engineer who enjoys exploring applications, finding defects, and improving software quality. The role involves manual testing of an Android application with a highly dynamic UI and learning Python-based test automation.
Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and workflows.
- Create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Log, track, and verify defects.
- Test Android applications deployed in on-premise environments.
- Learn and develop automation test scripts using Python.
- Assist in automating repetitive test cases and regression suites.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality releases.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Interest in mobile application testing.
- Eagerness to learn Python and automation testing.
- Ability to think from a user's perspective and identify edge cases.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Exposure to Android testing.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, or similar tools.
- Understanding of Agile development practices.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech, MCA, BCA, Diploma in Computer/IT, or equivalent.
- Freshers with strong aptitude and interest in QA are encouraged to apply.
