The Role :- We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to spearhead and drive business growth specifically for our Plated Heat Exchanger (PHE) product vertical across India. The role involves combining deep technical product expertise with aggressive market development, preparing technical proposals, and offering optimal heat transfer solutions to clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:-
● Market Development: Develop and execute targeted business strategies to promote and scale the sales of Plated Heat Exchangers (PHE) across various industrial sectors nationwide.
● Technical Proposal Management: Prepare and deliver technical/commercial offers, RFQs, and detailed tender documentation specifically tailored to heat transfer solutions.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with thermal design, R&D, and production teams to ensure proposal accuracy, sizing feasibility, and product compliance.
● Client Engagement: Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical presentations to pitch PHE solutions. Represent the company at relevant national industrial exhibitions.
● Relationship Management: Build and maintain rock-solid relationships with key industrial customers, consultants, and EPC contractors involved in process plants across India.
● Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities in the heat exchanger market, monitor pricing trends, and provide feedback to the manufacturing/product development teams.
● Sales Operations: Settle negotiations, close deals, manage complaints, maintain precise CRM records, and provide regular sales forecasting to leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications :-
- Product Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, thermal design, and fluid dynamics principles specifically related to Plated Heat Exchangers (PHE).
- Technical Literacy: Pro-level capability in interpreting technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs to identify heat exchanger requirements.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in Lead Generation, Cold Calling, Technical Presentations, and face-to-face client closures.
- Target Orientation: Proven history of handling and successfully meeting aggressive sales targets.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with a high degree of self-motivation to manage a Pan-India market.
- Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM software; exposure to thermal sizing/selection software is an added advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).
- Experience: 4–7 years of solid experience in technical sales and business development, with a primary focus on Plated Heat Exchangers (PHE) or related thermal/process plant equipment.
Pay: ₹650,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
