Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Patient Care Coordinator role based in Bengaluru. The Patient Care Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for patients and families, managing appointment scheduling, registration, and follow-up to ensure a smooth care experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling phone and front-desk inquiries, coordinating with psychiatrists and clinical staff, and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. The role also involves explaining basic procedures and policies, helping patients navigate services, and supporting care coordination across different departments or facilities. The Patient Care Coordinator will consistently uphold confidentiality, demonstrate empathy, and contribute to a calm, supportive environment for patients and caregivers.
Qualification and Skills required-
- Strong patient-facing skills, including Patient Care and Care Coordination, with an empathetic and professional approach.
- Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and basic clinic workflow management.
- Clear and courteous communication, including excellent Phone Etiquette and in-person interaction skills.
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology or willingness to learn, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or any other discipline, Masters degree in social work-with a focus on medical social work; training in healthcare administration is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or mental health center is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and use basic computer and scheduling systems.
- Comfort working with sensitive mental health concerns while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
