We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to oversee our CNC and Assembly Line operations for Column Pipe manufacturing in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC machining and pipe assembly processes, along with strong team leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the CNC section for Column Pipe machining, including cutting, drilling, threading, and finishing processes
- Plan and allocate manpower and machine schedules to meet production targets for Column Pipe orders
- Monitor CNC machine setup, tool changes, and programming to ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings and specifications
- Oversee the Assembly Line for Column Pipe components, ensuring correct fitting, assembly, and packing as per quality standards
- Conduct quality checks and inspections at each stage of CNC machining and assembly to minimize defects and rework
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and preventive maintenance schedules for CNC machines and assembly equipment
- Train, guide, and supervise machine operators, fitters, and assembly line workers
- Maintain production records, daily reports, and material and inventory usage for the Column Pipe section
- Coordinate with production planning, quality control, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements:
- Diploma, ITI, or degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in CNC operations and assembly line supervision, preferably in pipe or column pipe manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of CNC machines, cutting tools, and pipe fabrication and assembly techniques
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of quality control standards and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
