About the Role
We are building a next-generation SaaS platform in the Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement space. We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Full Stack Developer to lead the backend development, system architecture, and technical direction of the product.
You will work directly with the founder to build a scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS platform using modern AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend architecture using Laravel.
- Build secure, scalable, and well-documented REST APIs.
- Design and optimize MySQL database architecture.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services.
- Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead backend development and establish coding standards.
- Review code and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate closely with the Frontend Developer and QA Engineer.
- Work directly with the founder to convert product specifications into production-ready features.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high code quality.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Laravel and PHP development.
- Strong expertise in MySQL database design and optimization.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
- Experience with Redis, Queues, Caching, and Background Jobs.
- Good knowledge of Git/GitHub.
- Experience deploying applications on Linux servers (Nginx/Apache).
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with frontend developers.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing SaaS products.
- Knowledge of Docker, Cloudflare, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Web Push Notifications, Firebase, Service Workers, PWAs, or similar browser technologies is a plus.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor AI, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot.
