Job Description
We are looking for Erection Engineer /Project Planner (PEB) to manage and supervise the on-site erection and execution of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures. The candidate should have strong knowledge of steel structure installation, drawing coordination, and site execution with a focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Project /Site Management: Supervise daily erection of PEB structures, ensuring adherence to structural drawings, foundation levels, alignment, and site measurements.
- Coordination: Act as a technical liaison between design, fabrication, procurement teams, and on-site contractors to resolve technical and execution issues.
- Technical Compliance: Review and verify structural layouts (Grid & Bay), Tekla/AutoCAD drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols (PPE usage, toolbox talks) and maintain quality standards for welding, bolt torque tightening, and painting work.
- Planning & Logistics: Plan and monitor manpower, cranes, and resources for smooth execution and timely completion.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material tracking reports, and RFI (Request for Information) documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education
- Diploma/B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural and Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 2 to 5 years experience in PEB construction, steel fabrication, or site execution
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge in interpreting structural drawings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Tekla drawings
- Understanding of BOQ and structural layouts.
