Job Summary
The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by understanding customer needs, providing expert product recommendations, and achieving individual and store sales targets. The role involves building strong customer relationships, maintaining high visual merchandising standards, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional shopping experience.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Handle customer queries, objections, and complaints professionally.
- Assist customers with billing, order processing, and after-sales support.
- Ensure products are displayed according to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the inventory team for replenishment.
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure products are well organized.
- Participate in promotional activities, product launches, and sales campaigns.
- Stay updated on new products, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in retail sales, luxury retail, jewellery, fashion, or customer service is an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
