About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers, understand their business and technical problems, and build production-grade solutions that create measurable impact.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery. You will be responsible for taking ambiguous customer requirements, translating them into technical architecture, building the required systems, and deploying them into real-world production environments.
Responsibilities
Own customer deployments from discovery to production rollout.
Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand workflows, technical constraints, and business goals.
Design, build, and deploy full-stack or backend-heavy solutions based on customer requirements.
Integrate our platform with customer systems, APIs, databases, cloud services, and third-party tools.
Prototype quickly, but ensure final solutions are reliable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready.
Debug deployment issues, monitor performance, and improve reliability after launch.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to convert field learnings into product improvements.
Write clean, scalable, well-documented code.
Create reusable tools, templates, playbooks, and implementation patterns for future deployments.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
2–6 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, or technical implementation.
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar.
Experience building production systems using APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies.
Strong understanding of system design, backend services, integrations, authentication, and deployment workflows.
Ability to work directly with customers and handle ambiguous, fast-changing requirements.
Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to make trade-offs between speed, quality, scope, and reliability.
Good to Have
Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, agents, embeddings, prompt engineering, or evaluation pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability tools.
Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Startup or high-growth company experience.
Experience working with enterprise customers.
