We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Costing & Estimation Engineer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial electrical projects.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and electrical drawings.
- Perform quantity take-off (QTO) from AutoCAD drawings.
- Prepare material and labour cost estimates.
- Conduct rate analysis for electrical items.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial bid documents.
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and design teams.
- Estimate costs for HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, substations, panels, cable trays, earthing, lighting, DG systems, fire alarm, CCTV, and ELV systems.
- Prepare project budgets and cost comparison statements.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Maintain estimation records and project cost databases.
- Support project handover to execution teams after order finalization.

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Rate analysis and project costing.
- Tender documentation and bid preparation.
- Vendor quotation comparison.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical project estimation.
- Experience in EPC, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, warehouses, or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
