Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Vehicles and Construction Equipment operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines along with expertise in fuel pump systems, heavy equipment servicing, and preventive maintenance.
Candidates with prior experience handling construction machinery and commercial heavy vehicles will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and associated systems
- Perform repair, calibration, and overhaul of diesel fuel pumps and fuel injection systems
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy vehicles and construction equipment
- Troubleshoot engine performance issues and identify mechanical failures
- Repair and replace defective engine and transmission components
- Inspect, service, and maintain hydraulic and powertrain systems
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment
- Maintain service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records
- Follow maintenance schedules and operational standards
Equipment Experience Required
Candidates must have hands-on experience working on:
- Trucks
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Heavy Construction Equipment
- Diesel-Powered Industrial Machinery
Required Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Strong expertise in diesel fuel pump repair and servicing
- Good understanding of diesel engine systems and diagnostics
- Knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, and heavy equipment maintenance
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
Qualification
