Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with our account executives and sales managers. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential new clients, decision-makers, and market opportunities through online research, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound communication via cold calling, emailing, and social selling to qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations or discovery calls.
- CRM Management: Maintain clean and accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Market Research: Keep tabs on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to help the team refine its sales strategies.
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral for client meetings.
- Shadowing & Learning: Attend sales meetings, client pitches, and internal strategy sessions to learn effective negotiation and closing techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude and a drive to succeed. Ideal qualifications include:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to speak to business professionals and decision-makers.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with basic office software (Google Workspace / Microsoft Office). Experience with CRM tools or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a major plus.
- Mindset: A resilient, goal-oriented mindset. Sales involves handling rejection, so persistence and a positive attitude are crucial.
- Organization: Strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
