Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage on-site operations, ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating construction activities, supervising contractors, and ensuring that project deadlines are met efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to maintain project progress.
- Monitor site safety practices and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, quality checks, and progress documentation.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage material deliveries, stock levels, and resource allocation on-site.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure accuracy in project execution.
- Conduct inspections and ensure work is done according to standard codes and quality benchmarks.
- Support in the preparation of daily and weekly progress reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Location : Chennai
Experience : 6 months to 20 years
- B.E Civil, M.E Civil /Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
