Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
- Monitor and manage cost accounting processes including BOM (Bill of Materials), standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Analyze product costing and margins, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure accurate valuation and accounting of raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods inventory.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze actual vs. budgeted performance and provide actionable insights to management.
Accounts Payable/Receivable & Treasury
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and aging analysis.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing; experience in jewelry or luxury goods is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation, GST, and compliance is preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹75,000.00 per month
