Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)
Department: Kitchen / Food Production
Location - Patna(INOX Ambuja city centre)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting food according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
- Maintain quality, portion control, and food presentation standards.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie.
- Properly store food items and minimize wastage.
- Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Support training and guidance of Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist during busy service periods and perform other duties as assigned by senior chefs.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Skills and Competencies
- Good culinary and food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Time management and organizational skills.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a Commis Chef or similar role.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Long periods of standing and working in a hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift and move kitchen supplies when required.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
