ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Student & Parent Counselling
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parents interested in JEE and NEET programs.
- Understand the student's academic performance, strengths, weaknesses, career aspirations and target examination.
- Identify the student's requirements and recommend the most suitable academic program, batch and learning pathway.
- Explain the importance of systematic JEE/NEET preparation and the role of the institution in achieving the student's goals.
- Build trust and establish strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding courses, curriculum, faculty, batch structure, academic methodology, tests, study material and support systems.
2. JEE & NEET Program Knowledge
- Develop strong knowledge of JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET and K-CET preparation.
- Understand the differences between various programs, batches and preparation pathways.
- Stay updated with changes in entrance examinations, eligibility criteria, examination patterns, important dates and competitive landscape.
- Clearly communicate the academic and career advantages of different programs to students and parents.
- Explain the institution's academic methodology, faculty expertise, results, student achievements and unique differentiators.
3. Lead Management & Conversion
- Handle leads generated through digital marketing, website enquiries, phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, seminars, school outreach, scholarship/entrance tests and other campaigns.
- Respond to new enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Qualify leads based on student profile, academic requirements, course interest and admission readiness.
- Maintain a systematic follow-up process for all prospective students and parents.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions.
- Maintain a healthy admission pipeline and ensure that no prospective student is left unattended.
4. Telephonic Counselling
- Make inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents.
- Conduct effective telephonic counselling and generate interest in relevant JEE/NEET programs.
- Explain course benefits, program structure, fee details, scholarships, batch timings and admission procedures.
- Schedule campus visits and face-to-face counselling appointments.
- Follow up with prospects at appropriate intervals until the admission decision is made.
5. Walk-in & Face-to-Face Counselling
- Handle students and parents visiting the centre.
- Conduct professional and structured counselling sessions.
- Present the institution, academic programs, faculty, results and student success stories effectively.
- Conduct centre/facility tours whenever required.
- Understand parent concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
- Work towards converting walk-ins into admissions.
6. Objection Handling
- Professionally handle objections related to:
- Fees
- Discounts and scholarships
- Competitor institutes
- Faculty
- Results
- Batch size
- Location
- Timings
- Hostel/transport
- Course duration
- Academic methodology
- Parent/student hesitation
- Communicate value rather than competing purely on price.
- Understand the underlying concern behind an objection and provide a relevant solution.
- Escalate academic or operational concerns to the appropriate team whenever required.
7. Admission Target Achievement
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Maintain a strong focus on lead-to-admission conversion.
- Track individual performance against admission and revenue targets.
- Take ownership of the complete sales cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
- Consistently work towards improving conversion ratios and revenue contribution.
8. CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, counselling interactions, follow-ups and admission status in the CRM.
- Update lead status on a daily basis.
- Maintain proper follow-up schedules and ensure timely callbacks.
- Track hot, warm and cold prospects.
- Maintain accurate student and parent information.
- Prepare regular reports on lead status, conversions, pending follow-ups and admission pipeline.
9. Parent Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with parents and students.
- Maintain regular communication with high-potential prospects.
- Ensure parents receive accurate and timely information.
- Create a positive counselling experience that reflects the values and standards of Arjunaa Academy.
- Support the admissions team in maintaining strong parent satisfaction and referral opportunities.
10. Marketing & Events Support
- Participate in:
- Scholarship tests
- Admission tests
- Seminars
- Parent orientation programs
- Career guidance sessions
- School outreach programs
- Education exhibitions
- Open houses
- Demo classes
- Student engagement activities
- Support the marketing team during admission campaigns.
- Engage with students and parents during promotional and outreach activities.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding lead quality, parent concerns, competitor activity and market trends.
11. Coordination With Internal Teams
- Coordinate closely with the academic, marketing, operations and management teams.
- Ensure smooth transition of students from enquiry to admission and onboarding.
- Coordinate with academic teams when parents require detailed academic clarification.
- Ensure all admission-related documentation and formalities are completed accurately.
- Escalate critical parent/student concerns to the appropriate authority.
12. Competitor & Market Intelligence
- Monitor competing JEE/NEET coaching institutes in Bengaluru.
- Understand competitor programs, pricing, scholarships, offers, batch structures and positioning.
- Gather feedback from students and parents regarding competing institutions.
- Share relevant market intelligence with the management team.
- Identify opportunities to improve AAA's admission strategy and positioning.
Educational Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree / Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates with a background in Science, Education, Management or related fields will be preferred.
Preferred
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales or related discipline will be an advantage.
- Candidates with an academic background in Science will be preferred, but it is not mandatory.
Experience Required
Essential
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the education industry.
Preferred Experience
Candidates who have previously worked with reputed:
- JEE/NEET coaching institutes
- Integrated PU/JEE/NEET institutions
- EdTech companies
- Test preparation companies
- K-12 education companies
- Competitive examination institutes
will be preferred.
Candidates with experience handling JEE/NEET admissions and parent counselling will have an added advantage.
- Candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience specifically in JEE/NEET coaching, test preparation, EdTech or competitive examination counselling.
- Proven experience in student counselling, parent counselling, admissions or education sales is mandatory.
Pay: ₹221,640.00 - ₹552,000.00 per year
