We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher (PET) to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate will plan and conduct physical education classes, organize sports activities, and encourage student participation in various indoor and outdoor games.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students.
- Develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Organize and supervise sports events, competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
- Ensure student safety during all physical activities and sports programs.
- Maintain sports equipment and monitor its proper usage.
- Assess and evaluate student performance in physical education activities.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administration to promote student well-being.
- Maintain discipline and positive behavior during sports activities.
- Prepare reports and records related to student participation and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.).
- Relevant teaching certification as per applicable regulations.
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of multiple sports, fitness training, and child safety practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to coach multiple sports and athletic activities.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Strong classroom and student management skills.
- Passion for promoting health, fitness, and student development.
