Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized O&M Coordinator to support the operations and maintenance activities of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating field activities, maintaining service records, monitoring plant performance, and ensuring timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. The role requires a combination of office-based coordination and regular site visits to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate daily O&M activities for solar power plants across assigned locations.
- Schedule and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Follow up with site technicians to ensure timely closure of service requests and breakdowns.
- Monitor plant generation and performance through monitoring platforms and SCADA systems.
- Coordinate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and issue resolution.
Site Visits & Field Supervision
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect plant performance, maintenance quality, and safety compliance.
- Verify maintenance reports, service records, and site observations.
- Support troubleshooting activities during major breakdowns or performance issues.
- Ensure field teams adhere to company SOPs and safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain O&M records, maintenance schedules, attendance, and service reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Track inverter, module, and equipment performance data.
- Maintain warranty claims, spare inventory records, and vendor documentation.
Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and service requirements.
- Assist in preparing maintenance plans and resource allocation schedules.
- Support AMC contract management and customer communication.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and compliance documentation.
Requirements Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Solar O&M, Solar EPC, Electrical Maintenance, or related field.
- Experience in both office coordination and on-site operations is mandatory.
- Candidate must be willing to travel frequently and visit project sites as required.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with SCADA, remote monitoring systems, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
Key Expectations
- Ensure high plant uptime and performance.
- Timely closure of maintenance activities and service tickets.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with clients and field teams.
- Support continuous improvement of O&M processes.
Preferred Candidate: Candidate with hands-on solar field experience who can effectively coordinate between office operations, field technicians, and clients.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
