ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Digital Solutioning Expert to serve as the bridge between client needs and Codilar's technical capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of presales, solution design, account management, and business development, requiring someone who can translate complex business requirements into compelling, well-structured solutions while nurturing long-term client relationships.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital commerce platforms, a strong understanding of enterprise ecommerce ecosystems, and the ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how Codilar wins, grows, and retains high-value client engagements through strategic solutioning and account development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Outbound Lead Generation
Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and other sales channels.
Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of qualified opportunities.
2. US Market Business Development
Develop a strong understanding of the US market, industry trends, and customer challenges.
Identify potential clients across Retail, Ecommerce, B2B, and D2C segments.
Generate qualified meetings and discovery calls for the sales team.
3. Prospect Research & Account Mapping
Conduct detailed research on target accounts, stakeholders, and market opportunities.
Build account plans and outreach strategies tailored to each prospect.
Maintain and continuously expand target account lists.
4. Sales Outreach & Engagement
Create personalized outreach sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone channels.
Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture engagement and move opportunities through the sales funnel.
Manage outreach campaigns to maximize response and conversion rates.
5. Opportunity Qualification
Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges, technology requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Qualify opportunities based on predefined sales criteria.
Collaborate with presales and solution teams for deeper requirement discussions.
6. CRM Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activities in CRM.
Track outreach performance, conversion metrics, and sales KPIs.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on business development activities.
7. Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with presales, marketing, and delivery teams to align outreach strategies.
Support proposal discussions and client presentations when required.
Ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities to the sales and solutioning teams.
8. Revenue & Pipeline Growth
Consistently achieve lead generation, meeting booking, and pipeline targets.
Contribute to revenue growth through effective prospecting and relationship-building.
Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion.
Develop and execute retention strategies to improve customer satisfaction, renewal rates, and long-term client partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS

8+ years of experience in digital commerce presales, solution consulting, or a related technical solutioning role.

Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), Shopify, Shopify Plus, Pimcore, or Fluent Commerce.

Strong ability to translate business requirements into structured solution architectures, proposals, and commercial documentation.

Proven experience preparing and presenting client-facing solution pitches, RFP responses, and deal documentation including MSA, SOW, and WBS.

Familiarity with system integrations, omnichannel commerce ecosystems, and third-party technology partnerships.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at both technical and business leadership levels.

Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct deep client and market research and translate findings into actionable solutioning strategies.

Working knowledge of CRM tools, MIS reporting practices, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Proven experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Growth Management within Digital Commerce, Ecommerce, or IT Services environments.

Experience driving upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and account growth initiatives within existing customer portfolios.
