Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Hotel Chef to join our team. The candidate should have experience in preparing delicious, hygienic, and high-quality meals for hotel guests. The chef should be capable of managing the kitchen efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent food experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine.
- Plan and prepare daily meals as per guest requirements and hotel menu.
- Ensure consistency in food taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Manage kitchen inventory and inform management about stock requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective cooking practices.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Coordinate with hotel staff to provide timely room service and restaurant orders.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
- Good knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes.
- Ability to handle breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special guest requests.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage kitchen operations independently.
- Responsible, disciplined, and passionate about cooking.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
