About the Role
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition across India and international markets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in B2B SaaS or logistics technology sales who enjoys building pipelines from scratch, engaging with decision-makers, and closing consultative sales.
The ideal candidate understands the freight forwarding and logistics ecosystem and can confidently demonstrate technology solutions that help businesses replace fragmented workflows with integrated digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the early sales pipeline across India and global markets.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify freight forwarders, logistics service providers, transporters, warehouses, and other supply chain businesses.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, partner channels, and industry networking.
- Conduct consultative discovery calls, product demonstrations, and commercial discussions with prospective customers.
- Prepare customized proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close deals.
- Drive conversions from qualified prospects to free trials, pilot programs, and paid customer accounts.
- Own new-logo acquisition and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring strong pipeline hygiene, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and timely follow-ups.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term success.
- Gather customer feedback, market insights, competitive intelligence, objections, and product enhancement suggestions, and communicate them to leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS, logistics technology, freight forwarding, or supply chain solution sales.
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales and full-cycle B2B sales, including:
- Prospecting
- Discovery
- Product demonstrations
- Proposal creation
- Commercial negotiation
- Deal closure
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
- Experience selling remotely to customers across India and international markets, with the flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
- Good understanding of freight forwarding operations, logistics service providers, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms with a disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-up.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
