We are looking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer with hands-on experience in the design and engineering of HVAC systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC design, equipment selection, load calculations, and project coordination. Candidates with experience working on Reliance projects will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC system designs in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Perform cooling and heating load calculations and develop optimized HVAC solutions.
- Design air distribution systems, ventilation systems, chilled water piping, and equipment layouts.
- Select HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, chillers, ventilation fans, and related components.
- Develop detailed design drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Prepare equipment schedules, BOQs, technical specifications, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review vendor submissions and technical proposals for compliance with project requirements.
- Support project teams during execution, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices
Requirements:-
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and engineering calculations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software.
- Experience in heat load calculations, duct design, static pressure calculations, and equipment selection.
- Good knowledge of industrial and commercial HVAC applications.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and engineering standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior involvement in Reliance projects will be highly preferred.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with industry standards and project execution requirements for large-scale industrial facilities.
