Urgently hiring : Linux System Administrator / Server Support Executive
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux Ubuntu operating systems on servers.
- Manage server setup, updates, patches, and regular system health checks.
- Create, implement, and maintain user access policies and permissions.
- Configure and monitor server backup systems and data recovery processes.
- Write and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation and system tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and operational issues.
- Handle networking issues including internet connectivity, LAN, router, switch, and server communication problems.
- Maintain and support in-house server infrastructure.
- Monitor server security, logs, and system activities.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors for network-related issues when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of server configurations, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux Ubuntu administration.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting (Bash/Shell scripts).
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
- Understanding of user management, permissions, and security policies.
- Experience with backup and recovery systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot server and network issues independently.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, routers, and switches preferred.
Experience:
- 2–5+ years in Linux Server Administration / IT Infrastructure Support
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
