Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspections as per approved specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of machined and fabricated components.
- Assist in in-process quality inspections during manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements and procedures.
- Identify and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of daily quality control and inspection reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the workplace.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Basic documentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome; relevant internship or training experience will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
