We are seeking a dedicated and result-oriented Career Counsellor to guide students in making informed career decisions and assist them in selecting suitable IT and professional programs. The candidate will be responsible for student counselling, admissions conversion, relationship building with parents, and achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
- Counsel students and parents regarding career opportunities after 12th grade.
- Assess students' interests, aptitude, and career goals.
- Recommend suitable programs based on students' aspirations and academic background.
- Provide detailed information about courses, curriculum, fees, scholarships, internships, and placement opportunities.
Admissions & Lead Management
- Handle walk-in inquiries, phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and online leads.
- Conduct follow-up calls and counselling sessions to convert leads into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective students in CRM or admission software.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and educational partners.
- Organize and participate in career guidance seminars, workshops, education fairs, and counselling events.
- Address student and parent concerns professionally and promptly.
Documentation & Reporting
- Assist students with admission documentation and enrollment processes.
- Prepare daily counselling reports and admission status reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Background in Education, Marketing, Psychology, HR, or Counselling will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Career Counselling, Academic Counselling, Admissions, Sales, or Student Relationship Management.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to convince and influence students and parents.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Good knowledge of career opportunities, higher education, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
