Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Executive – Software to support and maintain business-critical applications. The role involves troubleshooting, installation, configuration, user training, and providing seamless client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and second-level support for software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor application performance and identify potential issues.
- Coordinate with the development team for bug fixes and enhancements.
- Manage application configurations, updates, and deployments.
- Assist in maintaining system documentation and user manuals.
- Handle user queries via email, phone, or ticketing systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and assist in backup and recovery processes.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production environments.
- Maintain logs of issues and track resolution status.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL queries, troubleshooting).
- Understanding of software applications and system workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and support processes.
- Basic knowledge of networking and server environments is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in software/application support (preferred).
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge can also apply.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with ERP or banking applications (e.g., MyBank, Tally, etc.).
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.
- Experience in handling live production issues.
Work Schedule
- Ability to work in shifts or provide on-call support if required.
- Willingness to handle urgent production issues.
