- Sample Collection: Perform venipunctures, capillary punctures, and other specimen collection methods smoothly and with minimal patient discomfort.
- Specimen Integrity: Accurately label all samples with patient details, date, and time, and ensure they are processed according to the clinical laboratory's standards.
- Patient Care: Verify patient identity, explain collection procedures, and address any patient anxiety or concerns.
- Safety & Hygiene: Strictly adhere to universal precautions and infection control guidelines, including proper disposal of sharps and sanitization of collection areas.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with nurses, pathologists, and laboratory technologists to track collections and ensure timely sample delivery
