Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Work with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, relationships, and optimisation.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Debug and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance-related problems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver complete web solutions.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, validation, and other application security practices.
- Work with Git for version control and maintain proper development workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MVC architecture, and object-oriented programming.
- Good understanding of MySQL and database design.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend development concepts.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of Laravel features such as Eloquent ORM, Migrations, Middleware, Queues, Jobs, Events, and Authentication.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
