About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admission Counsellor cum Sales Executive with 3+ years of experience in education sales, student counselling, or a related field. The ideal candidate will combine deep empathy for prospective students with a strong sales acumen, playing a pivotal role in driving enrolments while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Enrolment
- Guide prospective students and parents through the admission process, course offerings, and career outcomes.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (in-person, telephonic, and virtual) to understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Convert leads into enrolments by building trust, addressing concerns, and presenting compelling value propositions.
- Maintain detailed records of all counselling interactions in the CRM system.
Sales & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment/revenue targets.
- Proactively follow up with leads across multiple channels (calls, WhatsApp, email) to maintain pipeline momentum.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across courses and programs.
- Participate in education fairs, open days, webinars, and outreach events to generate leads.
Lead Management & Pipeline
- Manage and prioritise inbound and outbound leads effectively through the CRM.
- Track the full lead lifecycle — from initial inquiry to application, admission, and fee payment.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with academic, finance, and operations teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Prepare regular MIS reports on lead status, conversion rates, and revenue pipeline.
- Stay updated on competitor offerings and industry trends to position programs effectively.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA or PG in Sales/Marketing preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in admission counselling, education sales, or B2C sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrolment/sales targets.
- Prior experience in EdTech, higher education, coaching institutes, or vocational training is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the regional language.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Empathetic listening with a student-first counselling approach.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (LeadSquared, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience with EdTech platforms or LMS tools.
- Multilingual communication skills.
- Knowledge of higher education regulatory landscape (UGC, AICTE, etc.).
- Experience handling international student inquiries.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly enrolment numbers vs. targets.
- Lead-to-enrolment conversion rate.
- Average response time to new inquiries.
- Student satisfaction score (post-counselling feedback).
- Revenue contribution from self-generated leads.

Pay: ₹11,408.34 - ₹37,474.76 per month
