We Are Hiring for Production Supervisor.
Fabrication & Production Operations
- Supervise daily fabrication activities (laser/plasma cutting, shearing, bending, welding, grinding, assembly)
- Plan and execute production as per drawings, BOMs, and schedules
- Ensure proper material flow from stores to shop floor
- Monitor productivity, cycle time, and machine utilization
Drawing & Process Control
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and tolerances
- Ensure correct fabrication sequence and process adherence
- Coordinate with Engineering for drawing clarifications and revisions
Quality Assurance
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and welding quality as per standards
- Coordinate with QC for in-process and final inspections
- Reduce rework, rejection, and material wastage
Manpower & Shift Management
- Allocate welders, fitters, operators, and helpers shift-wise
- Monitor attendance, overtime, and skill utilization
- Train workers on fabrication methods, welding procedures, and safety
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce PPE usage and safe welding/fabrication practices
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, ISO, and customer requirements
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S on the shop floor
Machine & Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of welding machines, cutting machines, jigs, and fixtures
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily production reports and shift handover notes
- Track KPIs such as output, efficiency, rejection, rework, and downtime
- Update production status to management
