Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Supervise and manage daily last-mile delivery operations from the delivery station.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments as per SLA.
- Monitor route planning and rider allocation for optimal delivery efficiency.
- Track daily shipment volumes, undelivered shipments, and exception cases.
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of Delivery Associates (DAs).
- Conduct daily team briefings and performance reviews.
- Train new delivery associates on operational processes, safety, and customer handling.
- Manage attendance, shift planning, and manpower allocation.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key operational metrics such as:
- First Attempt Delivery Rate
- Same Day Delivery success
- RTO (Return to Origin)
- Productivity per rider
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements.
Customer Experience
- Resolve customer delivery complaints and escalation cases.
- Ensure proper communication with customers for delivery attempts.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and professionalism.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and operational SOPs.
- Monitor delivery associate compliance with uniform, documentation, and delivery protocols.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Hub Managers, Operations Managers, and Customer Support teams.
- Work closely with linehaul and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment flow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in last-mile logistics, courier operations, or e-commerce delivery management.
- Experience managing field delivery teams preferred.
