About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Lead to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth in the logistics and supply chain sector. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and promoting logistics solutions including air freight, surface transportation, warehousing, and supply chain services.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international logistics markets
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, references, and market research
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, manufacturers, exporters, importers, and e-commerce businesses
- Promote logistics services including air freight, express cargo, warehousing
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales deals
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts as per customer requirements
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline updates, and CRM records
- Handle key accounts and ensure long-term business retention
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong client handling and relationship management abilities
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets under pressure
- Good understanding of pricing, costing, and logistics documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
