Full job description

Location: Nanded City, Pune

Report to: Development manager

Purpose of Position:

We need an individual with proven experience in leading web development teams. This involves code reviews, technical guidance, among others
You will be responsible for building customer-facing web application and back-end services for health care applications
It is expected that you should be well acquainted with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and all the components required for developing interactive, modular and composable web application interfaces

Major Responsibilities:

Effort estimation for the allocated tasks / work assignment and tracking the same to completion in a timely manner
Analyze, design, coordinate, supervise and hands on development of web applications and APIs
Ensure proper usage of state-of-the-art JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS and Redux
Build efficient, testable cross platform and reusable web components
Responsible for review and accurate development against business requirements
Enforce adherence to coding standards
Ongoing addition/ update to technical documentation of respective functionality
Be an active member of the development team to contribute to team dynamics, ways of working and assisting with improvement opportunities
It is expected that you manage the full web tech stack solution right from the web interface to the backend database layer

Technical/Domain Skills:

Solid experience on frameworks like NodeJS, ReactJS and Redux
Demonstrable experience of web API, REST API including API lifecycle management

Education:

Graduate Engineer or equivalent qualification with minimum 5 years of IT work experience

Work Experience:

Must have total 6 to 10 years of work experience in development environment
Understand software development principles and technology with the ability to guide other developers & collaborate on technical information with various teams
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and object-oriented programming specific to front-end development
Solid experience on frameworks like NodeJS, ReactJS and Redux
Demonstrable experience of web API, REST API including API lifecycle management
Experience in continuous integration tools (pref. Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
Understanding accessibility and security compliance (User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments)
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Git
Ability to grasp new technologies
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good in English communication (verbal and written)
Following experience will be an added advantage (nice to have)
Experience in applying agile SCRUM method to projects with high added value
Has exposure in 1-2 years into Product based/ SaaS/ Technology companies
Exposure to multi-cultural teams
