Role Overview
We are adding experienced SAP ABAP Programmers with strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and SAP Fiori / UI5. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing SAP applications within enterprise environments while ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP programs and RICEF objects based on functional and technical specifications
- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications with ODATA services and CDS Views
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards
- Support system enhancements and enterprise implementations
- Maintain technical documentation and manage transport activities
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP with Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) programming
- Expertise in RICEF objects and ABAP Dictionary
- Experience with BAPI and RFC integrations
- Experience in writing CDS views and complex queries.
- Experience in developing performant ABAP Classes.
- Exposure to the APC/AMC is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in ODATA service development for SAP Fiori applications
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
- Good understanding of SAP development lifecycle and transport management
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to SAP UI5 concepts
- Experience in large enterprise SAP implementations
